Oven-Baked Spicy Maple Chicken Wings

Oven-Baked Spicy Maple Chicken Wings

If you know me, you know I LOVE wings. LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Superbowl Sunday wouldn't be the same without them, so I decided to try a new recipe this afternoon. I usually make them in the crockpot, but was curious how they would turn out oven-baked. I was worried that they wouldn't be moist but these were falling-of-the-bone incredible!

Oven-Baked Spicy Maple Chicken Wings

Makes 10 Wings

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (only the real stuff)
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce (Cholula or bust)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (I prefer low sodium)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 10 chicken wings
  • Heat oven to 375°F. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients except chicken; set aside. Place wings on a 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan. Pour mixture over wings, turn over and brush to evenly coat. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, turn wings over and brush with sauce. Bake for an additional 15 to 25 minutes. Serve chicken with sauce. ENJOY!
