Easy Crab Cakes

Easy Crab Cakes

Sweet July! I love you and a fresh, handmade crab cake (almost as much as it's cousin, the lobster roll). No, but really, these are delicious. :)

Easy Crab Cakes

Makes 6 patties

  • 8 oz crab meat
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs, I used regular but Panko would work, too!
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil, for frying
    • Combine all the ingredients with the exception the olive oil into a medium bowl and gently mix it all together. Form the crab mixture into patties, I like mine medium sized! In a skillet, heat the olive oil over low-medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5 min per side. Gently flip them over and cook for another 5 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!
