Parmesan and Black Pepper Popcorn

Growing up I was OBSESSED with Jiffy Pop. I would beg my mom every time we went grocery shopping for those brightly covered flimsy silver pans. It never tasted very good, but there was something so exciting about standing on a stool over the stove top and watching the aluminum bubble swell as the popping kernels made a racket. A few years later, I'm back at it with a more grownup version. It's a simple snack, but with the addition of olive oil, fresh black pepper, and parmesan it really can't be beat. :)
